About Ms. Clancy and this Video Blog

I am an English teacher for Plymouth Public Schools and a graduate student at Boston College Lynch School of Education. I am currently working toward a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus on English Language Arts (grades 5-12), Bilingual Education and 21st century skills. This blog was created for my fall 2011 graduate class “Restructuring the Classroom through Technology”.

The purpose of this Video Blog is to enhance my understanding of the blogging world by providing you, as readers, with videos which engage and spark discussion. Initially, I did not have a chosen “theme” for this blog space. As I began creating posts, I found that many were linked into categories surrounding Educational Reform and Technology.

  • Social Networking
  • Educational Reform
  • Technology in the Classroom
  • Blogging

Through posting the videos I have thus far, I found that my own educational philosophies regarding “Restructuring the Classroom through Education” speak loudly in each post. I do pose questions, and leave some unanswered. My opinion matters, but overall it is the feeling the videos leave each viewer with which matters most.
